Phoenix Rehab focuses on support, not promises. Your care plan may include movement rehab, graded strengthening, counselling strategies, hands-on care, acupuncture, and pacing tools so treatment fits your body, your goals, and the demands of daily life.

Chronic Pain FAQs

Can chronic pain go away completely?
Chronic pain is different for every person. The goal of care is to support function, movement confidence, pacing, and quality of life while helping you understand what may be contributing to flare-ups.
Is counselling included because pain is in my head?
No. Pain is real. Counselling can support the stress, sleep, fear, frustration, and life changes that often come with long-term pain. It can work alongside physical rehab rather than replacing it.
Can I exercise if I have chronic pain?
Often, yes, but the plan should be gradual and matched to your current tolerance. Physiotherapy and kinesiology can help you build activity safely without pushing through every symptom.
When should I see a doctor instead?
New severe pain, unexplained weight loss, fever, new weakness, numbness, bowel or bladder changes, chest pain, or symptoms that feel urgent should be assessed by a physician, urgent care, or emergency services.
